The Undersigned of which is acknowledged by signature hereon, (on behalf of myself, my heirs and estate) to participate in The Bethany Ride, freely, fully and finally waive, discharge, forever agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Ride For Recovery Inc., their employees, agents, and volunteers, or any person(s) under its direction, and further release them from any liability or responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or death to the undersigned and/or rider, and all claims, demands, suits, whether known or unknown, by the signing of this waver.

The Undersigned expressly acknowledges and agrees the activities (including but not limited to, riding, competitions, eating, drinking, and general participation) of the event can be dangerous and the hazards associated with riding motorcycles including but not limited to: changing weather conditions and temperature changes, encounters with wild life including insects on or off the road, the failure to travel safely or within one’s own ability or within designated areas, negligence of other people and riders, involve the risk of serious injury and/or property damage.

The Undersigned Rider(s) expressly acknowledges he/she is competent to operate a motorcycle in a safe manner and understands the risk and dangers inherent to motorcycling. The undersigned agrees to assume all the risk of any property damage, accidents or personal injury including death which the undersigned might suffer as a result from participation in this ride event whether such risk results from negligence (except in the case of willful negligence) on part of any or all of the released parties.

The Undersigned Rider(s) certifies that he/she is in possession of a valid motorcycle license and valid motorcycle insurance and assumes all responsibility that such documents are current and recognized by the state in which the ride is being conducted.

The undersigned acknowledges the motorcycle is in safe operating condition and additionally agrees that he/she will be riding on public highways and is solely responsible to determine the speed and operational characteristics of that motorcycle while participating in the ride.

The Undersigned certifies that he/she has no known physical or mental impairment that may affect his/her safety or the safety of the group. He/She understands that the choice of wearing a helmet or other protective gear is solely his/her own and assumes responsibility for his/her compliance with all state laws, including those regarding helmets and protective eyewear.

The Undersigned further expressly agrees the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the state in which it is operated in and if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full force and effect.

The Undersigned certifies this document has been read, understands, and voluntarily signs this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF IABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, further agrees that he/she is not under the influence of any narcotic, alcohol, or other drug that may impair his/her understanding or judgment, and that no oral representations, statements, or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made. It is also understood this Waiver and Release is in force for the duration of the ride, my participation with Ride for Recovery, and covers all activities provided thereof.
